AndySalvo
Penn State student, founder, and researcher.
Andy is a student at Penn State’s Smeal College of Business. He founded Polylogic AI, leads the Applied AI Club at Penn State, and writes research on how to make AI systems trustworthy.
- Company
Polylogic AI
Andy's research-driven software studio. AI tools shipped to businesses on live Stripe subscriptions with recurring-revenue clients. The company where the research has to hold up against people actually paying for it.
- Student Org
Applied AI Club
Penn State's student organization for practical AI, founded by Andy in February 2026. Over 100 active members by the first general meeting. Andy leads the technical side and shipped the club's site on Next.js and Cloudflare Workers. Independent from Polylogic AI.
- Creative Venture
ASalvoCreative
Andy's video production and creative-direction venture. Sports videography, brand campaigns, collaborations with Puma and Alex Ramos. The work that came before AI, and still runs alongside it.
- Research Paper
Polybrain
Andy's research paper on why AI systems cannot verify their own work. The preregistered RCC-n30 experiment put five disjoint AI models against 30 recent NeurIPS abstracts; they agreed perfectly, which is the failure mode the theory predicts.
- Open-Source Tool
polycode
Andy's open-source agentic coding CLI. Every agent turn appends to a tamper-evident session log so the work is auditable and replayable, with ten structural safety checks gating every tool call. Published on npm as @polylogicai/polycode.
- Research Paper
Explicit Commitment Debt
Andy's preregistered experiment on whether AI agents tell the truth about what they have actually done. 1,050 coding traces, a 24-line audit primitive in TypeScript, Python, and Rust, and an honest null published per the preregistered rule.
